Some comments about the english learning process at university (P10)

Well, first of all I want to say that my experience learning english was difficult for me because in high school my experience was not very good. My teacher all the time spoke about her life and no one learned too much. Her method was so bad that the classes was boring and longer. But I have to say that always I liked English for that I can say that my experience was better because I studied more than classes. 

At university my experience has been similar. The process always been individually and the methodology of evaluation is the same that other subjects. For that, I think that the methodology should be different, more didactic. A language is insert in everything around us, so I think that learning process should be simulating that during the classes, but is necessary to be prepared because that way everyone can collaborate and learning.

About blogs I want to say that I like them, but I think is so much, because I doubt that every student returns to them. So, I think that other strategy could be better. But I still believe that is a good strategy for to write.

I need to improve my listening because it's difficult to me identify the words when people speaking so fast. I try improve through reading lyrics songs. Besides, I need to improve my talk because I still embarrassing me when I speak. My plan in the long term is travel to another country because that way I will feel more pressure to speak the language. It should be noted that videos have been very useful to improve my talking. 

Changes to my study program (P9)

Like a student not traditional I have so many things that I will like to made in my study program of sociology.

The curriculum that we have is too much. There are so many subjects that if you fall behind you immediately add other year in your study program. So, I think that some subjects could be eliminate or put it on with others subjects.

Besides, it should be noted that the workload is too much also, because there are many tests into every subjects that produce stress in the students. This things make program of study being length.

In relation with the faculty facilities I think that should be have more areas of study because there is little of them especially at winter.

Besides, about of technology I take into account that not everyone have a computer or others instruments necessary for to study. So, I think that the university should be have more technology, especially computers because are so important for to preparate the presentations and academic works. This situation happened to me a few weeks ago and the university didn't anything. So, the university don't worry for studentsthat don't have money to buy the implements necessary for a good learning process. Being the equity other lie of educational system.

Finally, other thing that I will like to change in my study program is about the teaching methods. In front diversity of students that we have I think that the traditional methods, I mean, expositive classes and the obligation to attend, produce an exhaustion that sometimes finish with dropping out of university.

Summer holidays (P8)

Well, hello everyone! Today I will talk about the summer holidays.

This is a broad topic. I think that all of us we dreamed with a great summer holidays. I want to start by saying about the last summer holiday. I have to admit that I had a great summer holiday. At the beginning of summer holiday I have to work for pay my sign up in university and support expensive along the year. I worked like monitor in a summer school with children of different ages. We outed to different places everyday like cinema and zoo and besides we out every day to different pools and camping. Somehow are holidays because I have to be part all activities besides they pay me. For that I considered like a holidays for, because is a great experience with children, even if I a little stressing because they running everywhere.

In relation to the future I have to say that I have a little plans. I will like to travel Torres del Paine, they're have a beautiful view like their mountains and glaciers. I imagine it so big! I will like to visit Peru, I love it their colonial architecture. This include more countries in South America.

I will like venture into the woods. Be with the trees around me and wake up my creativity, paint the landscape. Besides I will like to read different literature, not only academic. About psychology for now I think it’s more interesting because I can know myself and my behavior.

Me and my best friend on the beach.

In May with my friend and her friends we go out to the beach. It was for four days at El Tabo beach, region of Valparaíso. It was free days far away from home, stress and anxiety and also was day’s fresh ocean air. I remember that in those days we were playing, dancing, cooking, drinking and smoking. Besides I remember that we were cooking some many vegan plates that all enjoyed.

Another thing is that with my friend we appreciate this mini journey away from homework and spending time of privacy with each other. I value this moment and I don’t know why. In fact I know it but I don’t want to say it. Finally I remember the latest day when we back home and we had walk so much because was an area of traffic.

In this photo I'm at La Serena, region of Coquimbo, Chile. In this photo I traveled with a friend of university to first time. I must say that was a good travel, because her friends are so much funny. We laughed so much and also we play at card. I remember that we eat some much and that yet embarrassing me. This travel remember me when few years ago approximately twelve years ago we came with others friends and her parents, I don’t remember all experience but I think that we had a pool in the cabin. It was great!

Courses that I would consider taking in the future... (P6)

CWhen I think if I wanna take a postgraduate course, I think that not. Maybe I will taking another courses but not a postgraduate. Will taking a course of english because I want to learn good the language and speak fluidly. Also I will taking a course of dance, I still don’t know what kind of course specifically, but I’m safe that I want it.
There are some many reasons in these elections. Well, I need more english because is necessary for my work career. Besides there so much opportunity when you know another language, job, meet people, read different things like book, blog, etc. Learning another language is good for everything. About the dance, well, always been my passion but I never taken it seriously until today. Never as a profession but yes like something part of my life.
Always I thinking that is a great idea and opportunity do it this course specially english abroad. Because everything around help you in the process. By the way still don’t know what country chooses.
The way that I will like to study is a part-time course, that way I have time for homework and go across the different places. The same for the course of dance, maybe I will need to combine the time for work and dance.
